We, The Staff & Management of Whitfield Mortuary would like to publicly announce the passing of 67 year old, Mr. Willie Moore Herring (formerly of Sampson County) who transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the North Carolina State Veterans Facility. 

A Life Celebration service will be conducted at 2:00PM Sunday, January 28th, 2024 from Keathern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (Harrells, NC) with Pastor Willie Alford officiating.  Public Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
