Stephanie Elizabeth Buckner

On behalf of the staff of Whitfield Mortuary, we would like to formally announce the transition of Ms. Stephanie E. Buckner, who passed away on Thursday, December 18. 2025 at Signature Healthcare in Kinston, NC.

Ms. Buckner leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Stephen Flack Jr., Terrace Buckner and Charlene Buckner, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Golden Progress Community Center (524 S Queen Street - Kinston, NC 28501).

There will be no public viewing.

We ask that you keep the Buckner, Flack and other connected families in your prayers.
