Accepting the Perfect Will of Our Almighty Saviour, We the Staff & Management of Whitfield Mortuary, LLC is the funeral establishment chosen to serve the family of, 77 year old, Mr. Richard Earl Sutton, Sr. who received ultimate rest on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the home of his son, Javon "Easy" Baylor in Kinston, NC.

A public visitation will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 1pm-3pm at the Lenston Whitfield Sr. Memorial Chapel (1501 W. Vernon Avenue - Kinston, NC 28504). A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Hickory Grove COC-DOC (601 West Road - Kinston, NC 28504).

Precious Memories are stored in the hearts of his three children, Richard Sutton, Jr. of Richmond,VA, Sasha McKeithan of Petersburg, VA, and Javon Baylor of Kinston, NC, one sister, Darnell Sutton of Kinston, NC, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
