But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

The Staff & Management of Whitfield Mortuary, LLC solemnly announce the earthly transition of, 78 year old, Mr. John Dixon, Jr., formerly of Kinston, who suddenly transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, December 16, 2024 in South Carolina. 

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the St. Peter Church of Christ - DOC with Elder William F. Hudson officiating. Mr. Dixon will be laid to rest in the Pinelawn Cemetery. 

A public visitation will take place from 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Lenston Whitfield Sr. Memorial Chapel.
