James Henry Hill

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

 Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

James Henry Hill, age 75, long time resident of Jones County, passed from this earth on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at his residence on Guinea Town Road.     

James was born on October 12, 1949 in Wayne County to the late Thelmon and Nannie Hill.     

James is survived by his loving wife, June McLaughlin Hill and his devoted and loyal canine Rufus. 

He leaves behind his brother Charles and his wife Helen and Thelmon wife Peggy Hill, his sons Jim and Joseph Hill along with grand and great grand children. 

James was a long time member of the logging and trucking community  and will be sorely missed in both.

James was a modest man so he decided that his exit from this world be simple and to the point, hence he decided on cremation with no service or memorial.
