In Loving Memory

We, The Staff & Management of Whitfield Mortuary, alongside the Tompkins & connected families pause to publicly submit the earthly transition of, 57 year old, Mr. James Richard Tompkins who transitioned on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. 

He was born August 15, 1967. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth. 

Warm memories are stored in the hearts of his parents Woodrow Tompkins and Diann Schlabach, sons James Tompkins, Tom Tompkins and Kevin Tompkins and daughter Justine (Brian) Hall.

Rick was a beloved husband, father and member of the community. Rick lived a life of near non-stop adventure and eccentricity and loved cooking for everyone he met. 

He will be greatly missed and his children would love to read about your adventures with Rick in the tribute wall.
