If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You'll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars. - Anon
Humbly serving, the staff & management of Whitfield Mortuary, LLC publicly announces the passing of, 41 year old, Miss Jameline Jacqueline Lofing who transitioned from the cares of this world on December 14, 2023 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Jamie was a faithful and giving young woman who walked in the light of Christ. Not many people truly live their faith, but Jamie was special. She was a true friend, confidant, and upstanding member of her community. A faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, she always tried to bring peace and healing to others, and achieved this as both a youth and young adult pastor and a mental health counselor.
Jamie loved country music, vintage clothes, and rag-curling her hair. She loved and was loved by her foster parents, Jodie and Tory and their children, Aubrey, Jared, Preston, and William, who she considered her siblings. She was blessed with a long-time best friend, Carolyn who was like a true sister to her. They, along with her close friends, and all the people she touched in her life were her true family.
Upon recognizing her passing was near, Jamie quoted John 19:25 “I know that my redeemer lives.” Jamie knew that she would live eternally in heaven, but her light will also live on through all the people she impacted throughout her time here on earth. She will be dearly missed.
