The Management and staff of Whitfield Mortuary, LLC, are the chosen professionals to serve the family of 58-year-old Dr. Amy Bright—Ward, formerly of Kinston. She received her ultimate healing from her Almighty Father on Friday morning, December 27, 2024, at her residence in Wilson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00PM Sunday, January 5, 2024 at the Goldsboro - Raleigh District Assembly (211 W. Hooks River Road - Goldsboro, NC) with Bishop Dedrick Hood officiating. Dr. Ward will be laid to rest in the Westview Cemetery (Kinston). 

She will lie in state from 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Saturday, January 4th, 2024 at the Hickory Grove COC - DOC (601 West Road - Kinston, North Carolina 28504).
